In the Fall 2016 quarter, the featured course was HAVC 141F: The Camera and the Body. The final class project asked students to identify one image in UCSC Special Collections to analyze. Students then curated exhibits to draw connections between photographs.

Literature 190L: Imagining Ireland, Prof. Renee Fox
In the Winter 2016 Quarter, the featured course was Literature 190L. At the 100th anniversary of the Irish Uprising of 1916, the class examined literature that responded to and remembered this historic event.

History 152: On the Silk Road, Prof. Maya Peterson
In Fall 2015, students in History 152 used Omeka to build exhibits as final projects in their course exploring the history and cultural legacy of the Silk Road. Each exhibit explored a different theme, connecting objects that serve as historical markers of the Central Asian past and representations of an imagined history.
