This instance of Omeka is used by the faculty and instructors of UCSC to introduce Digital Humanities and Digital Exhibit Building into their classrooms. This site is one of two sites for digital exhibits. The University Library supports Omeka use as part of it's investment in Digital Scholarship on campus.

By supporting the innovative use of digital exhibit building platforms like Omeka, students have the opportunity to experiment with writing for a public audience, curating digital objects, and creating hyperlinked and non-linear narratives.

Most exhibits are kept private.
